Common questions

Is Altifolio available in the App Store?

Not yet. Altifolio is in active development for iPhone. The website will be updated when TestFlight or public availability opens.

Who is Altifolio designed for?

The first release is being designed for student pilots, pilots, and CFIs who want fast flight capture, clear review, durable signed records, and useful progress guidance.

Does Altifolio replace an instructor or FAA guidance?

No. Altifolio helps organize records and present advisory guidance. Pilots and instructors remain responsible for record accuracy and compliance with current rules.

Will my logbook require a cloud account?

The product is being built local-first so core records remain useful without making a server account the starting point. Any optional synchronization or sharing service will be explained before launch.

Can CFIs use Altifolio?

Yes. Altifolio is being designed so CFIs can review and sign records, issue endorsements, preserve instructor records, and give students durable copies.
